The SEC can lay claim to 26 Hall of Famers, with possibly more to come later this week when the Pro Football Hall of Fame announces the Class of 2016.
Not surprisingly, Alabama boasts the most alums immortalized in Canton, Ohio with seven. LSU is the next with three Hall of Famers, while Arkansas, Ole Miss, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri and Kentucky each have two.
Mississippi State, South Carolina and Vanderbilt have no alums in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Notre Dame and Southern California are the schools most represented, with each counting 12 former players in the Hall.
The SEC could add to its haul this weekend as QB Kenny Stabler (Alabama), SS Steve Atwater (Arkansas), LB Kevin Greene (Auburn), RB Terrell Davis (Georgia) and OG Alan Faneca (LSU) are among the 15 finalists being considered.
