Quinn Ewers is one of the hottest topics aheads of the Texas Longhorns’ upcoming matchup against the Ohio State Buckeyes, which is his former team. But that is not the only storyline going around. There’s been speculation about what will happen if Ewers chooses not to go into the 2025 NFL Draft and instead opts to spend another year in college.

While there has not been any true controversy of merit, there is the question of if Ewers would lose the starting job to Arch Manning and if such a development would prompt him to enter the transfer portal. And furthermore, there have also been rumors that tampering has been at an all-time high with Ewers, who was reportedly offered $6 million to leave Texas.

It does not seem he is concerned with the outside noise surrounding that topic.

His sights are set on the Cotton Bowl and the Cotton Bowl only.

“I mean, right now, I’m just, I’m just not worried about all that stuff,” Ewers said when he was asked about the rumors. “I mean, people can say all they want to say, but, you know, I’m just focused on focus on Friday at this point in time.”

The Longhorns and the Buckeyes are set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday in Arlington, Texas.
