Linebacker Rahshaun Smith (Bradenton, Fla./IMG Academy) has re-committed to Clemson over LSU, Auburn, Maryland and a host of other programs.

Smith made the announcement on national television during Saturday’s Under Armour All-America Game in Orlando, Fla.

Smith backed out of a long-standing commitment to Clemson on Aug. 6 before re-affirming his pledge on Saturday. He was recruited by Tigers defensive coordinator Brent Venables, who developed a great relationship with Smith during the process.

Smith is the nation’s No. 2 inside linebacker prospect per 247Sports Composite rankings.
