Rara Thomas, Mississippi State’s leading WR, announces 2023 plans

Mississippi State’s leading wide receiver of 2022, Rara Thomas, will not return to the Bulldogs for the 2023 season.
The wideout took to Twitter to announce his plans on Friday.
“First I would like to thank God because without him, none of this is possible,” Thomas wrote. “I would like to thank my family for being my biggest support system and being here with me through it all.”
He also lended thanks to both the Mississippi State fan base and coaching staff for the time he spent there.

Thomas had a solid second year at Mississippi State this past season, reeling in 44 catches for 626 yards and 7 touchdowns. So far in his career, he has tallied 62 receptions for 878 yards and 12 touchdowns.
