Realus George Jr. announced that he will be returning for Missouri for 1 more season as a graduate senior.

The announcement came through George’s Twitter page. He posted a highlight package of his time at Missouri and he acknowledged that he will be coming back to play with his teammates. George tagged Mizzou defensive line coach Al Davis in the post.

George recently graduated from Missouri and will be back for the 2023 season. He was a valued member of Mizzou’s defensive line and he will be able to play in the defensive front for another season. It was unclear if George would pursue an NFL career or look to transfer, but he decided to return to the Tigers for an additional season.

Before he came to Missouri, he spent time at the University of Miami and Independence Community College. He joined Miami in 2018 and played that season as a fullback before he transferred to the community college.

He spent the last 2 seasons at Missouri and was a critical member of the defense. In 2022, he played in 12 games and recorded 20 total tackles and 1 sack. George will have 1 year of eligibility remaining in college football.

Missouri will finish the season against Wake Forest in the Gasparilla Bowl on Friday at 6:30 p.m. ET.
