One of the hottest topics across college football after championship Saturday was the announcement of a College Football Playoff the will not include Alabama, a team that has been projected to win it all several times over — including ahead of this season.
College football analyst Rece Davis recently put Paul Finebaum on the spot about the Crimson Tide and the fact they’re headed to a bowl game and not even in the running for a national title after some thought the committee would cave in and add them anyway.
“I hate to say they got it right, but they did,” Finebaum said. “Especially at the No. 3 position, I thought they rewarded TCU for a tremendous body of work and Ohio State deserved to get in over Alabama… it is a fair question (to question if Alabama would beat some of the teams in college football playoff).”
Finebaum said he would pick the Crimson Tide to defeat TCU.
