LSU is the only undefeated team in the SEC. The Tigers are 6-0 and ranked fifth in both the AP and Coaches polls.
Davis listed Alabama as one of the teams that is knocking on the door. The Crimson Tide are 6-1 and ranked eighth in both polls. They are the highest ranked team with a loss.
Next 4: 5. Clemson 6. TCU (2 toughest to leave out of top 4) 7. Alabama 8. Stanford

Davis has Florida (6-1) as his No. 12 team. The Gators lost a close game, 35-28, to LSU last Saturday in Baton Rouge.
Four More: 9. Fla State (getting better each week) 10. Mich St. 11. ND (feels too low for them) 12. Florida

Texas A&M lost to Alabama last Saturday, but Davis likes the Aggies enough to rank them in a tie for 16th.
Four to Watch (+1): 13. Memphis 14. Oklahoma St. 15. Oklahoma (one bad hiccup but really good) 16 tie: A&M and Houston
