Rece Davis signs Appalachian State fan’s forehead during College GameDay
Appalachian State isn’t a team that receives a ton of attention on Saturdays across the college football landscape. But when you knock off a ranked Texas A&M team at Kyle Field and make such an impression that College GameDay skips over the Aggies matchup against the Miami Hurricanes, things tend to change.
Needless to say, Mountaineers fans are hyped with the game against the Troy Trojans set to kick off later in the afternoon. So much so that Rece Davis signed a fan’s forehead during College GameDay. File that under “things you don’t see every day.”

App State by 50? App State by 50.
In all seriousness, it will be interesting to see how things play out and if the Mountaineers can build upon their success against Troy when the action gets started at 2:30 p.m. CT.
If App State stays on the right track, this is a team that could be destined for much more special things than anyone gave them credit for in the offseason.
