Tom Lemming is one of the most respected voices in the world of college football recruiting, and he had some high praise for a 2018 Texas A&M commit on Thursday.

While participating in an “Ask Me Anything” on Reddit, Lemming was asked who he felt was the most overrated and underrated for the 2018 recruiting cycle. While he would not comment on a recruit he feels is overrated, Lemming picked 2018 A&M DE commit Max Wright as his most underrated for the class.

Lemming also stated that he has Wright as the ninth overall player for 2018. Reddit CFB tweeted Lemming’s response.

Lemming acknowledges that he is certainly higher on Wright than most others. Wright is currently listed as the 87th overall prospect in the nation by 247Sports.com and the 12th best player from the state of Texas.

Still, it is safe to say Lemming knows his stuff after nearly 40 years of high school scouting. A&M fans will certainly be happy to see such a high review on an incoming player. No doubt, Wright should be looked upon to produce big things during his time in College Station. Who knows, he could be the next Myles Garrett for the Aggies.
