According to a report from Mattie-Lou Chandler of Outkick The Coverage fame, Alabama quarterback Blake Barnett will attempt to transfer from the program this season — in order to play at a junior college.
In theory, he’d be eligible to play next year.
Per Sources in Tuscaloosa: Blake Barnett planning/trying to transfer to JUCO this season so he will only have to sit out 4 games next year.

Rumors leaked earlier on Wednesday about a potential transfer involving the redshirt freshman out of California. Head Coach Nick Saban even addressed the claim — not divulging much on the matter.
