Alabama wide receiver Robert Foster will miss the rest of the season after tearing his rotator cuff during Saturday’s loss to Ole Miss, sources have told AL.com.

The third-year sophomore and former elite prospect had registered 10 receptions for 116 yards and two touchdowns this season.

The loss of Foster, who was injured after bracing his fall on a deep incompletion in the first half, is potentially a devastating blow to an offense already thin at the position.

ArDarius Stewart, Calvin Ridley and O.J. Howard will see more targets in his absence.
