Auburn defensive end Nick Coe was scheduled to arrive to campus this weekend in order to enroll in school this week but apparently the big lineman failed to arrive.

The 6-foot-5, 269-pound four-star recruit from Asheboro high school in North Carolina was ranked as the nation’s No. 55 overall prospect for the 2016 recruiting cycle and the No. 4 strong-side defensive end in the nation, according to 247Sports.

Asheboro high school coach Owen George indicated to Keith Niebuhr of 247Sports that while Coe failed to arrive, he still plans to arrive to campus this summer.

“(Coe) won’t be coming to Auburn this weekend,” George said. “He will be (at Auburn) on July 31.”

The specific reason for Coe’s delay is not known at this time.
