According to a report from Rivals.com, true freshman tight end Landon Rice has left the Auburn football team.

A 6-foot-5, 253-pound athlete out of Georgia, Rice enrolled early this past January. It was expected that the former 4-star recruit would contend for playing time right away.
However, he did not feature in the opener against Clemson, and has not been seen around the athletic complex since last week.
