Auburn quarterback Tyler Queen just cannot seem to shake the injury bug, as the backup is scheduled to have surgery on his throwing shoulder this week.

This news of Queen’s injury was first reported by Auburn Undercover.

Queen, a redshirt freshman signed as a three-star recruit in 2015, had surgery on his right elbow a year ago and is expected to be able to once again throw a football eight weeks after his shoulder surgery has been performed.

Renowned surgeon Dr. James Andrews is scheduled to perform the surgery on Queen. Of the five quarterbacks currently listed on Auburn’s official roster, Queen is the only freshman on the roster.
