Brent Musburger is set to call football games again, but his audience will only hear his voice this time around.

The 79-year-old has agreed to call games as the radio voice of the Oakland Raiders through the 2020 season, according to Gilbert Manzano of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Musburger has agreed to a three-year deal to be the new radio play-by-play announcer for the Raiders starting this season, according to two sources familiar with the move. Both were not authorized to speak about the hiring.

Manzano added that an official announcement from both sides could be in the works for later this week. The legendary voice bowed out in January 2017 with his last call coming during a Kentucky-Georgia basketball game. Musburger broadcasted for CBS from 1973 to 1990, then moved to ABC and ESPN from 1990 to 2017.

Since he left the world of sports, Musburger has been busy in Las Vegas with the Vegas Stats and Information Network where he is an on-air personality. The Raiders finalized their eventual move to sin city last year in time for the 2020 season.
