Report: CBS sideline reporter gives update on Tennessee DT Danny O’Brien

Tennessee defensive tackle Danny O’Brien is reportedly on his way back to the team plane after being taken to a hospital near Kyle Field during Saturday’s game against Texas A&M, according to CBS‘ Allie LaForce. It’s worth noting O’Brien’s last name is misspelled in the report but spelled correctly in the hashtag.

O’Brien experienced a hit to the head while attempting to tackle A&M running back Keith Ford. The senior’s teammates surrounded him as he received medical attention and was placed on a stretcher.
Tennessee announced O’Brien moved “all four extremities” and would be taken to a hospital for “precautionary reasons” shortly after he was taken to the locker room.
