Tennessee junior Elliott Berry will reportedly make his first career start at outside linebacker Saturday against Alabama, according to GoVols247.

Berry recorded seven tackles during last week’s loss against Texas A&M after being inserted into the lineup following Cortez McDowell’s injury. Tennessee is thin at linebacker following injuries to several players including Quarte Sapp, McDowell and starting inside linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr., who re-aggravated his sprained right ankle, which was originally injured against Virginia Tech in Week 2.

Berry is the twin brother of return specialist Evan Berry, as well as the younger brother of former Tennessee and current Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry and son of former Vol running back James Berry.
