Report: ESPN removing one of the cohosts of ‘Get Up,’ will use rotating cast instead

Published:
ESPN has had several issues with “Get Up,” it’s new morning show hosted by Mike Greenberg and Michelle Beadle.
Now, it appears a major change is coming to the show, as Beadle will be replaced by a rotating cast of cohosts.
Per The Big Lead, college football reporters Maria Taylor and Laura Rutledge will be among the new group of cohosts:
Michelle Beadle will leave ESPN’s morning show Get Up at the end of the month. She will be replaced by a rotating cast of Maria Taylor, Laura Rutledge, Jen Lada, and Dianna Russini, The Big Lead has learned from a person with knowledge of the news. Unauthorized to speak publicly on the matter, the person requested anonymity.
The show will also reportedly be an hour shorter, running from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Eastern time instead of 7-10 a.m. like it has been.
The news comes after Beadle said she would be boycotting college football and NFL again this fall. However, according to the report, the plan to remove Beadle as a cohost was already in motion before that information came to light.
