Lane Kiffin and Florida Atlantic have added a talented defensive player to their roster for 2018.
According to 247Sports, former Ole Miss signee and junior college defensive lineman Noah Jefferson has signed with the Owls.
Jefferson signed with Ole Miss last February but was denied admission to the program and given a release from his letter of intent.
The 6-foot-5, 330 pound defensive lineman was highly recruited out of both high school and Arizona Western, the junior college where he played last season. Jefferson originally enrolled at USC as a member of the class of 2015, and played in 14 games as a true freshman. He played in one game in 2016 and then decided to transfer.
Coming out of junior college, 247Sports had Jefferson ranked as the No. 20 player in the country, and he will still have two years of eligibility remaining at Florida Atlantic.
