Fisher is a former LSU assistant coach (2000-06) but he actually been in Tallahassee longer, first as an assistant to Bobby Bowden and now as a head coach since 2010. He has won a national title at Florida State (2013) and three ACC titles.
Fisher did tackle the LSU subject on his radio show Wednesday night in Tallahassee.
“I’m happy where I’m at. I’m very happy here,” Fisher said. “I’ve got a great job. I love this place. It is a great place and it has been very good to me. Hopefully I will end up being very good to it.”
According to the Palm Beach Post, Fisher has already told FSU president John Thrasher that he has no interest in leaving Florida State.
