It appears Florida has a new target to replace departing AD Jeremy Foley.
Gridiron Now’s Mike Huguenin reports that Kansas State AD John Currie will visit UF campus Tuesday.
A tweet by Currie this morning references an event in Dallas.
Great presentation this AM from @CanesAllAccess here in Dallas at D1 AD meetings.

Currie, 45, has been at Kansas State since 2009. He does have an SEC background though, having previously spent 12 years in Tennessee’s athletic department.
Foley, who announced his retirement in June, set his departure date as Oct. 1. Many expected that his successor would be announced prior to the start of football season, but the Gators have yet to close a deal.
USA Today’s Dan Wolken recently reported that Foley’s desire to assume an emeritus role played a factor in Arizona AD Greg Byrne and North Carolina AD Bubba Cunningham removing themselves as candidates.
Last month, Foley said in a radio station interview that he would not rule out staying on after Oct. 1 if necessary.
