Deondre Francois’ 2017 season never got going past the first game of the season, as he was knocked out of action against Alabama in the season opener in Atlanta. His injury cost him the rest of the season, as he did not return to the field for the Seminoles following the season opener.

While that news was tough, this one could be worse for Florida State’s starting quarterback.

According to Karl Etters of the Tallahassee Democrat, Francois is being investigated for domestic violence following a Wednesday morning incident at an apartment complex. Tallahassee Police showed up following a call in reference to a domestic violence incident involving Francois, but no arrests were made at that time.

The report cites multiple sources confirming the news.

If and how this affects Francois’ status at Florida State remains to be seen.
