Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Dominique Easley suffered what appears to be a serious knee injury on Tuesday.
Easley is entering his fourth season in the NFL after playing parts of four seasons at Florida. He was listed behind Michael Brockers on the Rams’ depth chart but was expected to contribute this season.
Easley has appeared in 38 NFL games with 60 tackles, 6.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and an interception.
The NFL’s Ian Rapoport was the first to report the injury with ESPN’s Adam Schefter announcing news that Easley would miss the season:
#Rams DL Dom Easley suffered what is believed to be a serious knee injury, sources say. He has an MRI tonight. "Not looking good," one said.

MRI confirmed that Rams DT Dominique Easley tore his ACL, and he is out for season, per source.

Easley’s best season with the Gators came in 2012 when he had 8.5 tackles for loss and four sacks. He certainly has displayed the ability to contribute at a high level in the NFL. Hopefully he can return to a competitive level following this injury.
