According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, former Ole Miss RB Brandon Bolden is in Miami and preparing to sign with the Dolphins.
Bolden has spent the past six seasons with the New England Patriots, but was released on Sept. 1. He played in all 16 games for the Patriots last season, rushing for 67 yards on 13 carries.
Bolden played for Ole Miss from 2008-2011, and rushed for 2,594 yards and 27 touchdowns during his time as a Rebel. In 12 games as a junior, he rushed for 976 yards and recorded 17 total touchdowns.
Bolden went un-drafted in the 2012 NFL Draft, but signed a deal with the Patriots just a week later.
