When the Patriot League announced recently that football teams wouldn’t fly to any games this season amid the COVID-19 pandemic, it put the Hawaii-Fordham game in Week 2 in serious jeopardy.

Fordham plays in the FCS division, so it remains to be seen whether Hawaii — a Mountain West team — will look for another FCS foe or schedule an FBS opponent.
No matter what, though, any team that has to head out to Hawaii is going to have a long trip ahead of it.
