Report: LSU DB Jamal Adams sets announcement date for NFL Draft decision

There’s been a lot of talk over LSU safety Jamal Adams.
A second-team All-Conference performer, Adams has starred in Baton Rouge since his freshman year — when he was named as a Freshman All-American.
The Texas native has a real chance to go within the first two rounds of next year’s NFL Draft. However, he’s yet to publicly announce his plans for the 2017 season.
According to a report from 247Sports, Adams will make his intentions known at a press conference on Jan. 6 in Baton Rouge.
Should he return, he’ll rejoin a loaded LSU team next season. Though RB Leonard Fournette and DB Tre’Davious White will be headed to the NFL, the remainder of the team will pretty much stay the same.
