Report: LSU RB Leonard Fournette ‘very doubtful’ for Missouri game

LSU star running back Leonard Fournette is “very doubtful” for Saturday’s game against Missouri, according to ESPN’s Brett McMurphy.

College GameDay host Rece Davis also expects Fournette to miss Saturday’s game.

Earlier this week, LSU interim coach Ed Orgeron said Fournette would be a game-time decision after reinjuring his ankle in Week 4 against Auburn.

Fournette leads all SEC running backs with 128.67 yards per game and has recorded 386 yards and two touchdowns on 67 rushing attempts. The junior enters Saturday’s game with 3,373 career rushing yards, which is 1,184 shy of Kevin Faulk’s school record of 4,557.
Fournette finished sixth in the 2015 Heisman race with 110 total votes including 10 first place votes.
