Tiger fans have a new home game to look forward to in the coming seasons.
LSU has added New Mexico to its 2022 schedule. News of the game was first reported by Kevin Kelley of FBSchedules.com. The game is scheduled to be played in Baton Rouge, it is the only 2022 non-conference game currently on the books for the Tigers.
LSU is paying $1.6 million to New Mexico for making the trip to Death Valley. The Tigers will now have to fill three non-conference games to complete the 2022 football schedule.
