Less than a month after getting released by the Minnesota Vikings, former Ole Miss star Laquon Treadwell has rejoined the NFC North team, per Courtney Cronin of ESPN.

The 23rd overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, Treadwell never really found his footing with the Vikings, catching just 40 passes for 395 yards and one touchdown in three years with the team. His first touchdown didn’t come until in Week 2 of the 2018 season against the Green Bay Packers.

Heading into the summer, the wide receiver’s future was already uncertain as the Vikings had declined the fifth-year option on his contract, therefore he will be a free agent following this season.

Treadwell left Ole Miss as the leader in pass receptions, hauling in 202 catches for 2,398 yards and 21 touchdowns for the Rebels from 2013-15. In his junior season in 2015, the Chicago native caught 82 passes for 1,153 yards and 11 scores, helping lead the team to a 10-3 record and victory against Oklahoma State in the Sugar Bowl.
