Mississippi State schedules home-and-home series with Troy

Mississippi State has scheduled a home-and-home series with Troy University for 2026 and 2027.

The first match up will be Sept. 19, 2026 in Starkville with the game in 2027 set for Sept. 18 in Troy. This information was first reported by FBSchedules.

The Bulldogs and Trojans have squared off in the past with the Bulldogs holding a 4-1 record against the Trojans. The most recent match up was in 2015, a 45-17 victory by Mississippi State.

Troy’s lone victory against Mississippi State came in 2001 by a score of 21-9.

FBSchedules.com was the first to tweet the announcement but Troy soon confirmed the news.
