Report: Multiple people at Tennessee deny recruiting rumors mentioned on ‘The Dan Patrick Show’
By Adam Spencer
Published:
Dan Patrick made waves on his syndicated radio show on Tuesday when he weighed in on the Tennessee recruiting violations that cost Jeremy Pruitt his job.
He said he’d heard that the Vols were using McDonald’s bags to hand cash to recruits, among other violations.
Naturally, the folks at Tennessee weren’t too happy with those rumors. Per Tennessee insider Wes Rucker, multiple people at Tennessee have been angrily denying those rumors:
People at Tennessee aren’t just denying the Dan Patrick Show allegations today. They’re angrily denying them.
Not person. People. FWIW.

Of course, as Rucker seems to hint at with his “FWIW” statement, it seems likely the Vols would deny anything like that.
However, the investigation seems to be ongoing, so we’ll see what details come out as we move forward.
