Report: Post-surgery update on UCF QB McKenzie Milton after horrific injury
By Adam Spencer
Published:
On Friday night, UCF star QB McKenzie Milton was gruesomely injured as his knee was twisted out of place during a tackle against USF.
It was a scary moment, and Milton was immediately taken to the hospital to reportedly have emergency surgery, as it was reportedly the kind of injury that can lead to losing your leg if it’s not addressed properly and quickly.
On Saturday morning, ESPN’s Andrea Adelson tweeted that she’d been told Milton made it through the emergency surgery, but remains at Tampa General Hospital:
I’m told McKenzie Milton made it through surgery late last night to stabilize his knee and repair other undisclosed issues. He remains at Tampa General.

That’s a good start, but we’ll most likely find out in the coming days just how bad Milton’s injury really was and what his long-term outlook is.
For now, though, this is a good first step, and we hope Milton continues to receive good news.
