Report: LSU defensive lineman believed to have suffered ACL injury

According to a report by NOLA.com, LSU senior defensive tackle Christian LaCouture has suffered what could be a major knee injury.
The paper reported the severity isn’t yet known, but it is believed to be an ACL injury.
This would be potentially devastating news for LSU and LaCouture, as he returned to school for his senior season instead of entering the NFL Draft. The LaCouture injury news also comes on the heels of defensive end Isaiah Washington suffering a major knee injury.
Hopefully, LaCouture just sprained his ACL and didn’t tear it. He’s recorded 86 tackles and four sacks over his career and has started 23 of the 37 games.
