Report: Tennessee dismisses defender Ryan Thaxton following arrest

Ryan Thaxton’s Tennessee career is over, according to VolQuest.com.
The Vols dismissed Thaxton following his arrest last week. The redshirt freshman was charged with domestic assault and false imprisonment. The lineman signed with Tennessee during the 2017 recruiting year, and he was rated a consensus 3-star prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
The Alexandria, Virginia, native prepped at St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School.
