Report: Florida hires Oakland Raiders DL coach Terrell Williams, WKU’s Greg Nord

Oakland Raiders defensive line coach Terrell Williams has agreed to the same position at Florida, FootballScoop.com reported Saturday. The Gators are also expected to hire Western Kentucky running backs/special teams coach Greg Nord to an undetermined role, according to Fox Sports.

Williams spent three seasons with the Raiders after working as a college assistant for 13 years. The 40-year-old coached at Texas A&M from 2010-11 before joining Oakland in 2012.
Williams has made stops at Purdue (2006-09), Akron (2004-05), Youngstown State (2002-03), North Carolina A&T (1999-01) and Fort Scott Community College (1998), serving as the defensive line coach at each program. In 2011, Texas A&M recorded an FBS-best 51 sacks and led the Big-12 with 104 tackles for loss.
Nord joined WKU’s staff in 2014. The Hilltoppers ranked No. 67 overall in rushing offense with 160.3 yards per game. Western Kentucky also ranked No. 45 in kickoff coverage and No. 54 in punt return coverage.
