Report: UCF QB McKenzie Milton having emergency surgery after horrific injury
By SDS Staff
Published:
UCF QB McKenzie Milton suffered a horrific leg injury in Friday’s game against USF.
Milton took the shotgun snap and ran around the right edge. One defender hit him low and another hit him high from the back. Milton’s leg then snapped the wrong way.
The Knights QB was carted off the field, and the latest update is that he’s having emergency surgery at Tampa General, per radio host Rock Riley. Riley shared the news via Twitter, but he has apparently deleted his tweet. Below is the screen shot:
Tampa General is one of the best hospitals in the country. If McKenzie Milton is having emergency surgery there, as @realrockriley reported, he’s in good hands.

Obviously, this is just an awful situation for Milton, UCF and college football. He was one of the most exciting players in college football.
We are all hoping for the best as Milton recovers from this injury.
