Published:
A rough weekend for the Volunteers just got a little bit worse.
Tennessee dropped a heart breaker to Florida Saturday afternoon after fighting back to tie the game, and it looks like the Vols have lost another defensive starter to injury.
It is being reported that LB Cortez McDowell will be out indefinitely with a wrist injury. Losing McDowell will be a big blow to a Tennessee defense already dealing with a number of injuries. McDowell is a senior who has 106 career tackles. He started the season strong with 13 tackles and a fumble recovery in the comeback win over Georgia Tech.
