Via multiple reports, it appears as if Tennessee tight end Jason Croom will not play tonight in the season opener against Appalachian State.

Croom sat out all of the 2015 season with a knee injury. In 2014, the 6-foot-5 hulking pass-catcher accrued 21 grabs for 305 yards and four touchdowns.
With Croom out, starter Ethan Wolf figures to see even more time on the field.
