Alabama’s former star linebacker, Reuben Foster, can officially check off that square on his celebrity bingo card. The first-round draft pick by the San Francisco 49ers is generating a lot of buzz in his new city, but this culinary honor came from an unexpected place.
Sugarfire Smoke House, located in and around St. Louis, has generated a reputation for crafting out-of-the-box menu items. Their latest creation, which they’ve deemed “The Reuben Foster,” might leave customers feeling like they’ve been tackled by the hard-hitting linebacker.

Had the Los Angeles Rams stayed in St. Louis, Foster would have had the opportunity to chow down on his namesake as a pregame snack before playing the division rival. That sandwich definitely looks worthy of a trip, though, so he will probably find the time.
