Georgia head coach Mark Richt held his first Sunday evening teleconference coming off the Bulldogs’ much-discussed win over Clemson Saturday night.

Even though reporters from several national media outlets were on the call, Richt didn’t seem as convinced by his team’s win as the public.

“I don’t know how good we are, quite frankly,” Richt said.  “We had a good performance.  We had one good game.  And even in that game, there were things that just need to be corrected.  I’m not going to get too excited yet.  We have a long way to go.”

Even with Georgia’s documented youth and inexperience, you have to feel good if you’re Richt about his team’s play Saturday night with as many freshmen as they had on the field.
