Ahead of a premier SEC matchup, Rick Neuheisel had high praise for the way Alabama and Texas A&M have been able to make adjustments after some rocky starts to the season.

Neuheisel noted that both the Tide and Aggies had some major issues to fix after the first few games of the season, and now it seems like they have done that.

For Texas A&M, it was the defense that needed to make adjustments.

“In the early portion of this season, I credit both of these coaching staffs for fixing problems,” Neuheisel said. “It was woeful defensively for A&M at Miami, they gave up 48, their tackling was abysmal. They seemingly have fixed that in their 2 SEC wins since that time.”

For Alabama, it was the offense that had work to do.

“Alabama look terribly offensively at South Florida and in the first half against Ole Miss, but they seemingly have fixed that,” Neuheisel said. “Milroe only had to throw 12 passes, he hit 10 of them against Mississippi State.”

While he complimented both teams, he believes Alabama will take the cake against the Aggies this weekend.

“I’m gonna go back to the Church of Saban, deliver my tithe, and take Alabama in this one, but I’m tipping my cap to both coaches,” Neuheisel said.
