Ashford talked about how great the environment was last week against Ole Miss and how this team needs the fans to continue to show up during a key end-of-year stretch. The Tigers have home games against MSU, New Mexico State and Alabama remaining, and Jordan-Hare Stadium will be looking to live up to its label as one of the toughest places to play at in the country as the season comes to a close.
The former Oregon Duck has thrown for 1,758 yards, ran for 890 and recorded 21 total touchdown over a two-year span with the Tigers. Ashford has generally been utilized as a part-time QB, coming into the game for different packages that utilize his ability to run the ball. The 88,043 fans at Jordan-Hare Stadium will be eager to see the dynamic QB rip off a couple of big runs against a stout MSU defense on Saturday.
The Tigers and Bulldogs are set to kick-off at 3:30 ET on the SEC Network.
