Griffin lists the LSU Tigers as No. 1, followed by North Carolina, Incarnate Word, Jackson State, and Ole Miss. The 7th-ranked Tigers have a tough conference battle at Arkansas in Week 11. With a win, the Tigers would keep themselves on the periphery of the CFP discussion.

North Carolina sports the 6th-best passing attack in the nation and has a tough ACC showdown with Wake Forest. Incarnate Word sports the 2nd-best passing attack in the FCS and has a matchup against the 1st-place Northwestern State Demons. Jackson State has a tough SWAC East showdown with Alabama A&M. 11th-ranked Ole Miss will take on Alabama, who is seeking redemption following a loss to LSU.
