Alabama wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams underwent arthroscopic knee surgery this week, according to a report.

ESPN’s Katie George broke that news on Saturday afternoon just before the Crimson Tide take on Tennessee in Knoxville.

Coleman-Williams had already been ruled out for this game, but is now set to miss multiple weeks with the injury. The talented Alabama star seemed to aggravate the injury in Week 6 against Georgia.

This is a big loss for Alabama’s offense. Coleman-Williams is one of the most dynamic receivers in the country and had taken strides toward fixing the drops issues that plagued him throughout the 2025 campaign.

So far this season, Coleman-Williams has 23 catches for 415 yards and 4 touchdowns.

With Coleman-Williams out, Alabama receivers Lotzeir Brooks and Rico Scott will likely see an increase in total targets from Keelon Russell. Derek Meadows and Noah Rogers are also candidates to see more playing time in the coming weeks.

Alabama is a significant favorite on the road against Tennessee in Knoxville. The Vols have won their last 2 home games in this series entering Saturday’s contest.
