Ohio State head coach Ryan Day understands the negativity surrounding the way the Buckeyes backed into the College Football Playoff, but he says his team has welcomed the opportunity to change the narrative on their season.
Day, the fourth-year-coach, also said he sees a bit of more of an edge from his team in the preparations for Saturday night’s game against Georgia.
Ryan Day said Ohio State has embraced its second chance it earned even after difficult losses and challenges, and that he's "pleased" with how "physical" the #Buckeyes have practiced.
"When you have something taken away from you, it does give you a little more appreciation."

Day knows the Buckeyes will need to be at their physical peak to play top-ranked Georgia. The Bulldogs are at the top of college football in most metrics on defense.
Ohio State head coach Ryan Day: "Georgia's defense is complete. They have really good players on the back end, very, very talented … When you go into the front, athletic linebackers who can run sideline to sideline, and their front is powerful … They're a complete defense"
