Offensive line coach Ryan Pugh issues apology after Baylor moved on from him after one day on the job

The coaching carousel in college football is one of the most interesting times on the sport’s annual calendar, and so far, this year has not disappointed.
This cycle in the Southeastern Conference, we’ve even seen South Carolina’s new head coach retain an offensive coordinator (Mike Bobo) and go out and get a hand-picked offensive line coach (Will Friend) only to see those two coaches leave two weeks later for Auburn. Vanderbilt hired a recruiting analyst to serve as the program’s general manager. Dan Mullen made several changes to his defensive staff that didn’t include moving on from Todd Grantham.
While those moves were pretty wild, we haven’t seen anything like what happened at Baylor.
If you missed it, Baylor hired former Auburn offensive lineman and Troy offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Ryan Pugh.
A day after hiring Pugh, Baylor coach Dave Aranda announced his program had rescinded the offer to Pugh.
Following that news, Pugh issued the following statement:
When I was a teenager, I made a poor decision that I take full responsibility for. I sincerely apologize to everyone I hurt and offended. I have grown since then, and I look forward to being a model father, husband, leader of young men and man of faith.

Pugh has not offered up any additional information on what he was apologizing for in this statement and Baylor has not provided any context to its decision to rescind its offer to him.
