Ryan Williams is already the thing of legends in Tuscaloosa. However, the superstar freshman phenom delivered his best play of the season thus far Saturday night — and it truly is a play for the ages.

First, Saturday’s game started with a massive first half from the Crimson Tide. For 30 minutes, they could do no wrong with Jalen Milroe playing like a Heisman Trophy candidate and Alabama outscoring Georgia 30-7.

Then, the 2nd half featured plenty of momentum swings in favor of the Bulldogs. That included Carson Beck shaking off a horrific first half and delivering a go-ahead touchdown to Dillon Bell late in the 4th quarter.

It appeared Georgia might easily put the finishing touches on the largest comeback win in program history. Then, Milroe and Williams came up with a play that will be remembered for years to come in a game that will be remembered in the same breath.

Milroe took a shot down field to Williams, and the freshman wideout made a spectacular catch after an adjustment to the throw. That was just the start with Williams eventually putting a spin move on 2 Bulldog defenders before outracing everyone to the end zone.

We’ll see if this stands up as a game-winner for Alabama, but it’s already a legendary moment for Williams and Milroe.
