Here are some highlights from Alabama coach Nick Saban’s weekly press conference on Wednesday.
Saban seemed to convey a sense of urgency to his players before No. 13 Alabama’s major tilt against No. 8 Georgia in Athens.
Saban: Now is the time to think about what you want to accomplish, how you want to play.

If the Crimson Tide are to avoid a second loss in SEC play, they’ll need more consistency from QB Jake Coker. During the show, Saban mentioned that the senior played his best game against Wisconsin. Coker went 15 of 21 passing for 213 yards and a touchdown in the 35-17 win. The only problem is that was all the way back in Week 1. Saban says it’s just a matter of decision-making.
Saban on Coker: Jake's getting more and more confident. Key is for him to play with more focus and make the right reads.

The injury to receiver Robert Foster has put Alabama’s depth at the position in question. Saban has given thought to giving cornerback Cyrus Jones some playing time at wideout. The senior spent time at receiver during his freshman campaign in 2012 before moving to the defensive side of the ball in 2013.
Saban said playing Cyrus Jones some at receiver is "something that we've discussed and certainly, probably have to consider in the future"

Tide fans are also curious about another potential addition to the offense this week. Running back Bo Scarbrough — the No. 2 athlete and No. 12 overall recruit from the class of 2014 as rated by ESPN — has seen his four-game suspension officially end, and he’s been medically cleared after suffering a torn ACL in the spring.
Saban on Bo Scarbrough: We couldn't invest a lot of reps in a guy who couldn't play a game. We would like to find a role for him.

Defensively, the Tide is preparing for a Bulldogs team that averages 45.5 points per game, second-best in the SEC. Meanwhile, QB Greyson Lambert has completed 33 of 35 passes over the last two games for 476 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions. Saban is hoping to disrupt some of that efficiency as Alabama leads the FBS in passes broken up with 26.
Saban on batted balls: We have some guys who played basketball and are really good athletes and they do a good job of knocking balls down.
