Sad Fans Are Sad in Week 11

Auburn fans (see above) were a bit salty about losing to Georgia in the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry on Saturday. Some schools can’t wait until basketball season to overtake football for obvious reasons this year (Kansas, North Carolina, UCLA), but Auburn? Guess so:

And some were seeking forgiveness from Charlotte’s Belk Bowl, with funny results:

Texas A&M won, but some Aggies fans were incredulous at times against Ole Miss:

Ditto for Florida fans at The Swamp until the Gators came back against South Carolina:

Then it was the turn of Gamecocks fans to feel the Surrender Cobra mood:

Both shocked expression and Surrender Cobra are on point here:

And some Arkansas fans left early, though some missed a good comeback which just fell short against LSU:

Boston College had high hopes and a boost from College GameDay to no avail in a loss to Clemson:

Stanford is just playing out the string:

And USC fans were getting snarky about Pac-12 officiating even as their Trojans were losing at home to Cal:

Thursday, North Carolina State fans were stunned:

And finally, dear SEC fans, always remember: No matter how your Saturday went, at least you were not dealing with snow:

So embrace the warmth.
