One of the biggest results from Saturday’s action was SEC member Arkansas beating future league rival (and former Southwest Conference brethren) Texas. The Razorbacks led the No. 15 Longhorns all the way, and the result released a whole bunch of pent-up celebration for Hogs fans:

As for Longhorns fans, it was a pretty unhappy experience:

And even fans who do not root for Arkansas sure didn’t mind seeing Texas go down:

The variety of pained poses among Texas fans was certainly internet fodder:

Meanwhile, Tennessee had a rough time, losing at home to Pittsburgh of the ACC:

It can be exasperating to be a Vols fan these days:

And it looks like the result led to some contemplative moments:

Interesting thought here … I guess we’re just going to forget Georgia’s win over Clemson that quickly, huh?
I heard the ACC was trash, if true, what is Tennessee? Reply in gif form #sadSECfans

Around the nation, the lone top-10 matchup was No. 10 Iowa visiting No. 9 Iowa State in one of the biggest games in Cyclones history. But the Hawkeyes prevailed for the CyHawk Trophy again, leading to great enjoyment for Iowa fans:

That #SurrenderCobra class in Ames might have some strong attendance:

Perhaps this one will be the teacher or at least a GA — the Cobra form here is excellent:

Meanwhile, in Columbus, the Buckeyes started falling even before Ohio State actually lost to Oregon:
We should’ve known this was going to happen after this start by Ohio State

Of course, just like Texas going down, many folks just enjoy Ohio State losing even with no real rooting interest:

Maybe this tiny duck was a premonition that Oregon would finally best the Buckeyes for the first time in 10 attempts:

Florida State’s shocking last-second home loss to FCS Jacksonville State on a Hail Mary pass stunned the FSU cheerleaders just as much as everybody else:

Finally, let’s hear it for these fans in Miami who were aware enough to help a falling cat:

The Miami Hurricanes recovered from their thumping at the hands of Alabama last week to edge Appalachian State. But this cat was the real winner, leaving no sad fans here (but perhaps a couple of fans with a few scratches).
